Volunteering for Metro Ministries: Helping out our Community

A group of students will volunteer at Metropolitan Ministries at their Tampa main campus. Since this is a capped event (max 30 students), we ask that you first register for the activity on Involve, then utilize the following link to sign up through the MetroMin website here: https://vhub.at/UThonor

**Dress code: Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants with no holes, and shirts with sleeves.**

Also, as with all events, it's very important that we follow through with community partners so that we maintain our reputation of being a reliable UTampa organization. If you signed up for this, please make every effort to attend it. If you are a no-show, which happens more often than we'd like to admit, that is marked in your student record for Honors and can hurt your ability to apply for Honors-only opportunities, awards, and funding going forward. And, more importantly, it leaves MetroMin short-handed, which we want to avoid.

The need for volunteers is greater than ever, and I'm sure that MetroMin will have much for us to do, so you are sorely needed and we greatly appreciate your involvement and willingness to serve your community.
